A Very Fun Bride
Earlier this week I created some beautiful portraits of Andrea wearing her Romona Keveza gown. Her wedding is in three weeks so we went to http://www.thehermitagehotel.com/ after having to skip Cheekwood's magnificant gardens because of rains. So having a backup plan and Alice Hendry http://www.alicehendry.com/, the wedding planner who worked out the last minute arrangements, is a good thing.
Andrea was a real pleasure to photograph. She was a bit stiff at first and maybe a little nervous, but after a few frames and a few little exercies that I have developed for brides, she eased up and began to really enjoy the session. I found out very quickly that Andrea is a former dancer and now teaches karate. As you will see from the photographs below she truly enjoyed herself and we all had a great time. Her father and mother were there enjoying/relishing the moment with us, and they had such a good time watching and being with their daughter a few days before the big wedding.
Enjoy the photographs,
David Wright

Stretching One's Imagination
Every so often, one must stop what they are doing and explore an idea or a world that is not so common place. This is exactly what I did earlier this week. I got away from the computer finally and joined another Master Photographer to create images in styles of yesteryear as well as very futuristic. Working with models and the staff at Gist Salon in Clarksville, Tennessee, I created scenes and lighting styles beyond the norm. This mental exercise feeds the soul and allows me to explore lighting styles as well as posing ideas that I cannot begin to do for clients. Thirteen hours I worked on sets, lighting and photographed beautiful ladies in the most mysterious guise. I hope you enjoy these images I created on my last adventure.

That fabulous Morgan bride!
Ah! Miss Morgan! What a joy!
on the most unusual lovely summer evening
with perfect temps and low humidity.
Seemingly, thrilled about her Bridal Portrait session,
Morgan didn't mind our dressing "room" at all.
Morgan's mom, Susan and another Morgan,
a close friend and my photography assisstant,
made a makeshift 'room' for her to don her lovely
basket weave bodice Watters and Watters Wedding Dress.
We just love 'the mama'!
One of the best for sure!
Morgan is not only stunning, but fun and silly. I think she enjoyed twirling in the garden...
...and is sure to be comfortable. No stiff wedding pumps for this bride!
And what a fabulous 'Julia Roberts' smile Morgan has!
These are Family Heirloom earrings that have been worn through the generations. Morgan will be Bride # 25 to wear these! They are kept in this jewelry box and a new slash mark will be made yet again!
There are so many fantastic images! Thank you Morgan for being so joyous, easy-going, and making my job so much fun! I can't wait for September 15th! We are going to have a blast!
